TRAFFIC ALERT: Overnight lane closures in Clay County for concrete repair, Aug. 20-21
CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting various overnight traffic modifications in Clay County evening and overnight from 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20th until 6:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21st, for concrete repair. Motorists may experience delays. Please see below for traffic modifications:
Thursday, August 20th from 7:00 p.m. until Friday, August 21st at 6:00 a.m.
- Crews will be conducting a single lane closure on southbound Interstate 435 at 48th Street
- Crews will be conducting a single lane closure on northbound U.S. Route 69 at Palmer Drive
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris form the roadway.
