Ford Reports 6 Percent Surge in U.S. Vehicle Sales

(MENAFN) Ford achieved a 6% annual sales jump in the United States during 2025, marking the automaker's strongest yearly performance in six years, Tuesday data reveals.

The Detroit-based manufacturer moved 2.2 million vehicles across America throughout 2025, including more than 545,200 units in the final quarter—a 2.7% quarterly gain. The company's last comparable performance came in 2019, when it delivered 2.42 million vehicles to U.S. buyers.

Market penetration expanded as Ford captured 13.2% of the domestic automotive market, representing a 0.6 percentage point advance compared to the previous year.

Company executives attributed the growth to robust consumer appetite for pickup trucks and hybrid-powered models.

Electric vehicle deliveries contracted 14.1% over the period, contrasting sharply with hybrid sales that soared 21.7%.

Traditional gasoline-powered vehicles with internal combustion engines dominated Ford's 2025 portfolio, comprising approximately 86% of total unit volume.
