Ford Records Strongest U.S. Sales Since 2019
The automaker sold 2.2 million vehicles in the U.S. last year, including more than 545,200 units in the fourth quarter — a 2.7% increase. By comparison, Ford sold 2.42 million cars in 2019.
Ford’s market share also expanded by 0.6 percentage points in 2025, reaching 13.2%.
The company attributed the growth to strong demand for pickup trucks and hybrid models.
However, sales of electric vehicles dropped 14.1%, while hybrid sales surged 21.7%.
Conventional cars powered by internal combustion engines continued to dominate Ford’s lineup, accounting for about 86% of total sales volume in 2025.
